This is a 2nd year University assignment that a classmate and I did for our Film Sound and Foley module at Staffordshire University. The aim of this assignment was to replace all of the audio in a movie clip with sounds that we recorded around our area. We modified the audio in Logic Pro so that it would be believable for each of the sounds we needed for the clip, making sure that it matched what the viewer was seeing. The equipment used to record the audio was a Marantz PMD 660, a Shure SM 58 Microphone, Shure SM 63 microphone, and a Rode NTG 1 directional condenser Shotgun microphone. An Apogee Duet FireWire Audio Interface was connected to an iMac as another method of recording the audio. The Final edit of this was done in Final Cut Pro. This is a movie clip from Beverly Hills Cops. Enjoy!
